Whistleblowing

Heimstaden has a Policy and Manual to cover Whistleblowing.

We have zero tolerance for wrong-doings and procedures, to ensure that all irregularities that might damage the company, our employees, customers, suppliers, or other stakeholders should be investigated as soon as possible. Our whistleblowing solution enables anonymous reporting about irregularities that are in breach of applicable legislation and our Code of Conduct. All reports are received and handled by an external agent – 2Secure.The Policy and Manual and our system is in line with the EU Whistleblower directive.

What can be reported?

Reporting may pertain to irregularities committed by any person in the company, and in breach of our Code of Conduct or Governing documents:

  • An irregularity that is in breach of the law
  • An irregularity the disclosure of which is in the public interest
  • Any breach of Heimstaden’s Code of Conduct and Business Partner Principles (Code of Conduct for Business Partners) or our other governing documents

How can I make a report?

Reporting can take place in writing via the website https://wb.2secure.se/wbui/ or verbally by phone at +46 771 77 99 77. You can remain anonymous. If you like to report via an in-person meeting, this can be requested by registering a report on the website mentioned above. When registering a report, you are assigned a unique case number and password, which must be saved in order for you to actively log in to the website, monitor the report and communicate with the case officer at 2Secure. Before you submit a whistleblowing report, either through 2Secure’s website or by phone, please ensure that you use the correct company code. You can find all company codes here.

A report can also be raised by the Heimstaden representative with the line manager, People & Culture or to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. If you have questions or concerns, please use the email compliance@heimstaden.com.

What should I include in my report?

The more information you can provide, the better. If possible, please specify the timing of the event(s), a description of what you have observed in as much detail as possible, as well as any knowledge of previous related incidents.

What happens next?

Once a report has been registered, it is processed by experienced case officers at 2Secure, who will contact Heimstaden’s primary contact person/s. If the primary contact person is the subject of the report, another person on the contact list will be informed.

You can feel safe!
